Hart was born on July 6,1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Nancy Hart and Henry Witherspoon. He was raised by his mother who was a system analyst for the Office of Student Registration and Financial Services at the University of Pennsylvania. His was ashamed of his father and later on admitted that because of him he knew what he shouldn’t do in life. This is because his father was a cocaine addict and was constantly in and out of the jail. He then started using humor to avoid the depressing in his surroundings and cope up with life.

He has one older brother named Robert. And he is a Christian. He graduated from George Washington High School, thereafter he attended Community College of Philadelphia for a brief period of time before dropping it out and moving to New York. He also worked as a shoe salesman is Massachusetts before pursuing a career in stand-up comedy.

He started his career at The Laff House in Philadelphia, but apparently it did not go well. The consecutive shows he performed after this did not go well either. He was even booed off the stage several times, once even having a piece of chicken thrown at him. So quite evidently, he did not experience an immediate success. In 2011 he performed ‘Laugh at My Pain’ in 2011 and ‘Let Me Explain” in 2013. He grossed $15 million from ‘Laugh at My Pain’ which made it one of the year’s top-selling comedy tours. From here on he only grew in his career of stand-up comedy and did numerous successful tours.

Hart then decided to try his fate by doing film and television roles. He definitely aced in that too. He made his film debut in ‘Paper Soldiers’. Thereafter he did many great roles in awesome films such as “The 40-Year-Old Virgin”,” soul Plane”, “Little Flockers” and many other dozens of movies.

On August 18,2018 Kevin proposed to Eniko Parrish. They got married later on in 2016.
